Mixed Roots Stories Announces

Open Voting to Select their Logo

Help Mixed Roots Stories Choose a Logo

Los Angeles, CA – Mixed Roots Stories is excited to announce their online poll is open at www.mixedrootsstories.org for voting on one of three logos that will become their new logo.

Organizations generally select their own logo through an internal process, but Mixed Roots Stories chose a different path that aligns with their focus on being inclusive. Involving the community in selecting the organization’s logo, “affirms our philosophy that sharing is a powerful element of telling a story,” said Chandra Crudup (co-curator of Mixed Roots Stories), “and we want the community to share in our story.”

The talented graphic designers at Zerflin contributed significantly to designing the logo options for Mixed Roots Stories. And now Mixed Roots Stories needs you, the community, to help make their final decision. You can vote by going to www.mixedrootsstories.org and clicking on your favorite logo. Please share with your friends and relatives, because they all can vote too. Voting ends February 22nd; the votes will be tallied, and the people’s logo choice will be introduced on March 1st.

Mixed Roots Stories’ mission is: “To celebrate and strengthen diverse Mixed communities through the power of sharing stories.” The website is www.mixedrootsstories.org.

By sharing our stories of the Mixed experience we can develop a shared narrative that recognizes and celebrates our differences, yet strengthens the bonds that unites us all.
